KS Senator Rob Olson introduced Senate Bill 39 in Jan. 2011. The bill in short: creating the classification of "aggravated sex offender;" creating additional penalties and restrictions for sex offenders. In Feb. 2011, members of Kansas Rights 4 Kids joined Senator Olson to give testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Senate committee choose to not support this bill. Senate Bill 39 this bill has been filed in the house, (HB 2346) with some change to the bill.
